old joke - I referenced the fact in my question above anyway...you seem
to eager to pile on.

Give a man a fish, feed him for a day, teach him to fish, feed him for
life. Where was the Latin -> English translator when I needed it? 

anything beyond 'veni vidi vici' or 'tempus fugit' or 'carpe diem' is
lost on me.
