How Can i Change the refresh rate of the monitor i use fedora core 3 my screen resolution is 1280 X 1024 when i go to Applications --> Preferences --> Screen Resolution i find that there is only one value for the refresh rate which is 60 Hz & i can't change it i went to the file /etc/x11/xorg.conf i found this section :

what should i do to increase the refresh rate of my monitor from 60 Hz to 90 Hz or 100 Hz ??

What is the make and model of your monitor?
Do you know what the horizontal and vertical sync frequencies are that it supports (this information should be in the monitor manual)?
