I use an Intel 865 m'd and Intel P4 3GHz processor with 80GB
Western Digital SATA HDD, it is running well,
Could you please, check your BIOS whether SATA drive is
recognized in BIOS or not, if not, clear that issue first. then it will run
smoothly

I have a AMD Athlon 64 based PC with a SATA
drive. The installation is not recognizing the SATA drive.
I am new to linux and not an expert. I need
some help on how to install on this machine.
I have set aside a 40 GB partition for Fedora
core 3.
Any ideas will be greatly appreciated.
The PC is a HP Pavilion d1000e with 512 MB of
RAM.
