I actually asked in the #firefox channel on irc.mozilla.org and was directed
to http://www.extensionsmirror.nl/ where I found it as 'Bookmark Backup'.
This site seems to have more extensions than the main firefox site and also
includes ones that it doesn't have, such as 'Bookmark Backup'. And, they've
got extensions for thunderbird too, although I don't know what they're like
as I don't use thunderbird.
