I just got this hint that I decided to post here for future
reference... This solved the problem.


File/Print - Click Properties, change the print command to "kprinter
--stdin" (without speech marks)

This changes the printer that FF uses to the standard KDE printing
system.  You can then use the KDE Print to PDF functions.
