As it was already mentioned by Giulio Sorrentino, Firefox does not
support smb protocol, Konqueror does, though. "
smb://xp-server.abc.com" will not work, you will have to add the name
of the shared resource. As for the ports, if I am not mistaken, you
will need TCP/UDP 137-139 and 445.
