I noticed that in the development portion of the download.fedora.redhat.com site, that there is a PPC directory that contains what looks like all that is needed to install FC4 on PPC hardware. I tried to install this on an older PowerMac G4 [533MHZ], with no success. I decided to do an NFS install because there weren't any .iso files except the boot.iso in the images directory. I burned the boot.iso and that booted the system just fine. Everything appears to be normal during the install. The installer saw the network card, I assigned and address, and filled out the info for the NFS server. After that, when it gets to the part about starting anaconda, the installer states that it has exited abnormally with what looks to be a whole bunch of missing python files...? Has anyone tried this, and got a succesfull install?
