I'm sure there's an easy answer to this
question. How do I locate/activate my parallel port? I'm running FC3
on an Intel 845-based motherboard.
$ dmesg | grep par
turns up nothing.
$ cat /proc/ioports
turns up nothing looking like a parallel port,
either. The 378 neighborhood seems vacant.
Is there a set of packages that I need to
install?
