I'm not a Fedora user but I came across the thread on the linksys kvm and thought I would mention that I have had to replace TWO motherboards now after this kvm KILLED the ps/2 mouse ports on them. The first time it happed was with an older mobo which I was all too happy to replace but now its happened for a second time and I have reported this to Linksys earlier today. Both times this happened after 2 or 3 weeks of using the switch. The Linksys product support page and FAQ both mention that only ps/2 mice are supported. I am using a USB mouse with a USB-to-PS/2 adapter and it must be causing spikes when the switching occurs. I wonder how many others out there are using this kvm with usb-to-PS/2 adapters and how many are killing their ps/2 ports. I would guess there could be many as standard ps/2 mice are a rarity on store shelves these days. Tony, if you actually get your mouse port to work again I will be VERY surprised. I'm tossing this kvm and going out to get one with better voltage protection and.... for the second time, another motherboard!
