That locked up my machine solidly - no keys accepted, only way out is to power cycle. No clue anywhere - no logs, etc as to why the kernel locked up. It is a two year old box, and I did upgrade the BIOS (the older BIOS would immediately hang the 2.6 kernel, worked fine with 2.4). So, I'm staying away from wide greps in /etc! Uname is: 2.6.10-1.760_FC3 #1 Wed Feb 2 00:14:23 EST 2005 i686 athlon i386 GNU/Linux
