I have a laptop that currently has two partitions: W2K and Red Hat.

I need to remove the Linux partition and return it to a W2K only

How can I do this, i.e., how can I reverse the partitioning that takes

You, trying to desert away from Linux... I won't tell you ;-)
Just follow the instructions on previous posts. But you can also use something like Partition Magic if you want to "extend" your Windoze partition to make it cover your whole disk.
