This seems to be one of the most commonly asked questions on this list.

First, make sure you downloaded the right files. You
don't want the
SRPMS you want the regular install file. SRPMS is
for source files.

Second, make sure that when you burned your disk you
used your burning
software's "create disk from image file" function,
and that you didn't
simply burn a disk with the ISO file on it. The ISO
file is the actual
disk image which should be bootable.

Finally, check your BIOS to be sure that you set the
boot order
correctly (which you mentioned you already did).

See if the first two options lead you in the correct
direction, and
drop a reply again if you still need help. Let us
know what image you
downloaded (the name of the ISO file and where you
got it from) and
how you burned your disk.

Hello,

I just did a fresh install of FC3 ( ~48h ) from the FC3-i386-DVD.iso that I did get by BitTorrent, and all worked fine.

Vinicius.
