I've found it, acpi=off on the kernel line in grub does it!

Not that it helps me right now but maybe I should try to make the computer ignore my new disk until it's solved and reinstall FC3. Can I do that without detaching it fysically (Ok, I'm not native english speaker).

By the way, my hard drives are (according to bios) Maxtor 6E040L0 (this one worked before with FC1) and Maxtor 6Y080M0 (this is my new SATA disc, a "MAXTOR Diamond Max Plus-9 80Gb 7200rpm S-ATA 8Mb" according to the selling company).
