modprobe.conf: alias usb-controller ehci-hcd alias usb-controller1 uhci-hcd
Insert the SanDisk Cruzer 1GB drive and get the following in /var/log/messages:

I'm guessing it's a problem with ehci as well as none of my USB2.0 devices seem to work with ehci loaded :-(
