<http://www.redhat.com/docs/manuals/linux/RHL-9-Manual/install-guide/s...>

My dual boot system:

name    file system     contents
-------------------------------------
C:\     ntfs            windows 2000
E:\     fat32           FC3-i386-DVD.iso
hda3    ext3            fedora core 3

By burning FC3-i386-disc1.iso onto a cd-rw, from <http://download.fedora.redhat.com/pub/fedora/linux/core/3/i386/iso/>, a *minimal* install of linux is on hda3.

I didn't see an "Installation method" dialog...?

Take the file boot.iso from the images directory of your CD-RW and burn that to your CD-RW instead. Boot from that and you should get the installation method prompt.
