Hi All,
I turned the 'yum' service on from the 'system-config-services'
applet. Now, as far as I've seen, if I restart the computer I have to
reload it manually. Is there a way to make it automatic?
I just tried the command line suggestions I got:
[root ~]# chkconfig --list yum
yum 0:off 1:off 2:off 3:off 4:off 5:off 6:off
[root ~]# chkconfig yum on
[root ~]# chkconfig --list yum
yum 0:off 1:off 2:on 3:on 4:on 5:on 6:off
So far so good. I'll try to reboot it later when I get home, to see if
the changes stick. I'll post the results back here. Thanks a lot
everybody!
Ok. after rebooting, that's what I got:
[root ~]# chkconfig --list yum
yum 0:off 1:off 2:on 3:on 4:on 5:on 6:off
Thanks everyone!
