Are you running under Gnome? Also how up to date are you on FC3 patches? Have you customized your Gimp at all (installed extensions, etc)? Have you customized your Xorg, such as installing tablet input devices, etc? Another thing to try, is to create a brand new Linux user and log in as that user and try Gimp. That will let you know if it's some user-setting or it's a system problem. -- Deron Meranda
