Have you ever had GAIM working in this installation? Can you elaborate on any kind of errors that you might be having? Are you able to connect to the internet period? If so, what kind of connectivity do you have? Can you browse web pages, check your POP mail, irc?
These are some of the basic questions that will need to be answered before anyone can even think about helping you. Please provide these details when you ask questions.
