I just touched some settings of my home workstation BIOS in order to change the FSB from 133 to 166, and then the soundcard desapeared.
Then modules are still loaded (via AC'97 stuff) but no soundcard found by the sound card wizzard.
What should be chacked? I'r running a FC2 with 2.6.10 kernel, with X (mostly default installation)
About the changes in the BIOS, I disabled the use of APM (If I remember
well). And changed the FSB freq. that's all.
What does /sbin/lspci lists? You should see there a Multimeida controller.
