Dumb queston, but have you tried to youse yumex (a yum frontend quite
similar to synaptic) or plain old yum to install it, and see if that
is the problem? If not, most probably the problem is in your
/etc/apt/sources.list file for not having an URL for the dependencies
to be satisfied from.
Not a dumb question. no i have never tried anything other than synaptic.
the reason is because early on a friend recommended it synaptic. he's
the same guy that recomended FC3.
is yum superior to synaptic?
What is the group opinion on the best way to keep FC3 updated?
