Hi,
I had a usbstick working fine before the last Kernel update. When I
connected it, an entry at /media would appear which I could mount &
use. Now, when I insert the usbstick nothing happens. There's no new
entry on /media or /mnt. I need to be able to mount it. Can anybody
help me here? The following lines appear in /var/log/messages file
when I insert the disk:

I'm using FC3 with 2.6.10-1.741_FC3smp kernel & KDE.
Thanks mike and Steven for the help. Your suggestions did work. However,
I just noticed that, for some reason, the haldeamon service was stopped!
Starting it again made all work as fine as before: plug the usbdrive in,
the mount point (/media/usbstick) appears, and I can just 'mount
/media/usbstick', as always.
Thanks.
