There is no firewall on this machine, nor in the path between them, 
netfilter, iptables, and selinux are all disabled on this machine.  
There is a netgear 8 port switch between them, but thats it.  Pings 
work just fine to it from here.  There is firewall aplenty between my 
network and the internet, but thats not applicable to this scene.
