bad kernels?

I need some advise. I now have two different machines - a fc2 server and a fc3 workstation - who can't use the latest kernels because of sepatate and differing reasons. I haven't been able to upgrade the fc2 kernel since end of October. The fc3 problems are more recent - only a couple weeks old - but I don't want to have things slip through the cracks with it as has seems to have happened with my fc2 machine.

I have filed bugs on both with copious amounts of information:
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=139949
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=144863

I don't know what else to do to try and get something moving on these, especially the older one. I don't know how things work with this sort of thing or if I simply have two different systems that can't use Fedora. I don't know if I would have any different luck with other distributions or if this is a strict kernel thing that would follow me to any another disto.

Any suggestions?
