You can open 
Settings >> Configure >> Security
and tick the box that says 'Keep password in memory'
That will mean that you only have to enter your password once, the first time 
it needs it on any session with KMail.
But there's no way to keep it permanently available to KMail without entering 
it at least once per session AFAIK.
