Installed FC3 and all was well. Installed the synaptic and apt rpms:

synaptic-0.55.1-1.1.fc3.fr.i386.rpm
apt-0.5.15cnc6-1.1.fc3.fr.i386.rpm

synaptic worked.

upgraded the following rpms

apt_1%3a0.5.15cnc6-53.3.rhfc3.at_i386.rpm atrpms_61-1.at_noarch.rpm atrpms-package-config_91-1.rhfc3.at_i386.rpm fedora-release_3-9%5f1.rhfc3.at_i386.rpm librpm4.3_4.3.3-8%5f39.rhfc3.at_i386.rpm libselinux_1.19.3-1%5f1.rhfc3.at_i386.rpm libselinux-devel_1.19.3-1%5f1.rhfc3.at_i386.rpm pythonabi_2.3.4-1.rhfc3.at_i386.rpm rpm_4.3.3-8%5f39.rhfc3.at_i386.rpm rpm-build_4.3.3-8%5f39.rhfc3.at_i386.rpm rpm-devel_4.3.3-8%5f39.rhfc3.at_i386.rpm rpm-python_4.3.3-8%5f39.rhfc3.at_i386.rpm synaptic_0.55.3-1.1.fc3.fr_i386.rpm up2date_4.3.69-1%5f8.rhfc3.at_i386.rpm up2date-gnome_4.3.69-1%5f8.rhfc3.at_i386.rpm yum_2.1.12-50.rhfc3.at_i386.rpm

synaptic no longer worked because of a problem in /usr/bin/consolehelper-gtk:

Any thoughts?

What do I have to uninstall to fix consolehelper-gtk?

Thanks
