	This will vary depending on which desktop you use and which core you
are using.

	If you are using KDE and / or FC1-2 look in preferences for a mime-
types.  You should be able to find your program and select default
application there.

	Gnome 2.8 has broken from this method and you can select the
application through the properties box (i.e. right click on any .pdf
icon, seletc "properties", select the open with tab)

	You probably should be able to right click a .pdf file and select
"open" or "open with..." which should take you to a place to select the
default app also.
