Due to the size of the 2.6 kernel, production of a 1.44 MB floppy image is not possible.  You must use a 2.4 image to boot your system (RH 9/FC 1).  If you can boot from a CD image, then you can create a  bootable CD, such as the Rescue CD that is in the FC3 distribution.

Sorry,

... But can't find the information on how to make a Fedora bootable floppy.
With Red Hat Linux 9 I could make one during the installation process but
Core 3 doesn't seem to do that!
