Thats the one Escallade 7500-8.
The current system runs on that drive. It is the only drive on the system so even the root file system is on the machine. The only time I have any problems with the system is when I am trying to install from CD. It tells me that there is no drive. This worked out of the box with RH9. That is why I am kinda confused. When I originally got the system, I needed to supply the driver on install (RH7.2). But Since RH8, it has been included in the kernel, and I have yet to find a standalone driver for the 2.6 kernel.
So, on my one server I upgraded already, I had to use the apt-get dist-upgrade method. That worked, somewhat, but that machine is experiencing odd crashes.
Its just goofy, man!
