Your partition layout seems to indicate different. So if there really is a /boot partition with the kernel and ramdisk image and / contains /boot just the mountpoint, then with your grub.conf above system can't boot. Maybe it is enough to remove the "/boot" in the kernel and initrd lines. The "LABEL=/1" indicates that there was/is a different / labled partition too. Frankly, I don't know what you did and I doubt you can investigate this your own and communicate it to find a quick solution. It may be quicker if your start from scratch with a clean hard drive.
