Yeah - you are incorrect :). T40/T41 have USB-2 ports. Mine were in
working condition (with FC1) for a few months - and failed later
(which probably coincided with a FC1 kernel update - causing me
confusion - as to the cause of the failure)

Since usb-1 was still working - there was no urgency for me to get
this problem resolved.

I've noticed another poster on linux-thinkpad with this problem - so
on my count 4 of us have encountered this issue.

I'll have to wait and see if replacing the system board fixes this
problem for me (or not...)
