You really should check them out. Their cheapest plan will cost you a bit more, but they are really enlightened. For example they encourage their users to share their dsl connections with their neighbors. They don't block ports. You can get static IPs and custom reverse DNS (PTR records) for an extra $10/month (generally via a "plus" package). You can have different passwords for access to your account management functions (and shell access if you get it) and dialup and news. This is important because their dial up and news services are outsourced and you probably don't want those companies in a position to snoop your main password.
