I have experienced quite a few crashes at several sites with Firefox 1.0. When that happened, I always switched to Mozilla (1.7.3), which seems to be robust than Firefox.

i think this has something to do with why i can't play games on yahoos site
any thoughts??

Jim:

This is a link to the Java plugin and is fixed with the libjava....so link.

I think that YahooGames is MS crippled and cannot be used with a Linux browser (and some of the stuff at Fidelity.com is similarly broken, but can and will be fixed.)

Quite funny, because I haven't had a single issue with Firefox yet. Not in 0.93 nor 1.0R nor any later version. No crashes so far - only on Windows with IE (but none with other browsers .. on linux I can read my hotmail in Firefox much faster than in Windows with IE (and IE crashes a lot - or explorer.exe or whatever.exe from MS).. haha )

The only thing I'm missing is Firefox (for FC) is danish, but then I'll have to recompile the sourcecode from mozilla.org or using their binary installer and forget all about rpm's :s
