(1) Did you use yum or up2date?
(2) Are you using FC3?
Possible answers:
If you are using up2date, you have to force an update for any kernel related packages. This is STRONGLY suggested; but you can change the default behavior of this.
The mirrors have not updated all their definitions. The last kernel update was on 11/23/2004!
