yum install kaffeine libdvdcss

File -> Open DVD
Player -> DVD Menus

Btw, that is to play the DVD like a standalone player would, i.e. with menus
and stuff.  Dunno why you would want to mess with the actual vob files...?

Kaffeine is an awesome KDE frontend to xine which is an awesome media
player.  I hate mplayer, that stupid program has given me nothing but
headache.
