fedora and darwin streaming server

I just joined the list here, so greetings and hello!

I've got a project going where we need to get Darwin Streaming Server
running asap on a new box that just went online today. However, I
haven't yet had any exposure whatsoever with Fedora - I used redhat
extensively before RH9, but it's been a couple years and I've been using
gentoo exclusively, so I'm not up on the latest regarding redhat's distro.

Anyhow, has anyone had any luck getting Apple's darwin streaming server
running on Fedora? I haven't yet actually made any attempt to do so yet,
as I'd like to hopefully hear some experiences of others before I jump in.

Did you use an rpm? Does RH9 rpms work with Fedora with no issues?
Should I just compile it from the source tarball? Any issues/pitfalls I should
be aware of before I start?

Thanks a ton!

Beers,

Corey
