I've read this, could anyone tell me if this would be causing a strange
error I have had since I updated my Samba server to FC2, then to FC3. I
use my FC3 Samba server purely as a client software repository - dark
side clients XP Pro. Two of the applications stored on the server will
no longer install accross the network from the Samab share, one is MS
office xp amateur, the other is Sophos. If I copy these to the local
client straight from the server mount they install fine from the client.
Both the apps report missing files - which is not correct. The Samab
logs report the missing file, but when I look for it the file is in
place. I guessed I had a user permision error, as the error on the Samba
install is the same as one I had many years ago and was eventually
tracked to a user permisions issue with the directory. (I can't seem to
prove this with the error I have at present).
I would love to sort this out as at present it means I have to use a
dark side server for the Sophos autoupdate, and I would dearly love to
get rid off this.
Thanks,
Neil.

Does anyone know when an rpm for the 2.6.10 kernel will be released for
FC3?
