That's the funny part... I looked at the camera specs, and it actually has a USB port, which I assume it's 2.0. There's no mention of FireWire at all!Did you alerdy investigated if you DV has a FireWare port? It's more common used for video transfer...

It's a Panasonic PV-GS9 Digital Video Camcorder.
