FC2: Problems getting Palm Tungsten E to sync

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

Good Day!

I have been using a Palm V for five years and I just purchased a Palm
Tungsten E. I have been syncing the Palm V with Evolution with no
problems. However, I can't seem to figure out how to get the Tungsten
to sync.

I created a symbolic link for /dev/pilot linking it to /dev/ttyUSB1.
Using pilot-xfer, I determined that I could see the Palm on this device.

Using the gnome pilot settings, I can get the Palm's user name and id
from the device when I click the "Get from pilot" button. So, it is
talking.

However, after I get the pilot setting configured, I can't get it to
sync. Here's what I see in the log:

Why is the Palm changing from being attached to USB0/USB1 to USB2/USB3?

I have been searching through the archives, but I haven't found my answer.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you.
