Hello list,
I try t o use latex on my fedora core 3. I have some problems when I click
"QuickBuild" in kile.
The Document is simple, i got this problem because of german umlauts and utf8.
latex:

\usepackage[ngerman]{babel}
\usepackage[utf8]{inputenc}
\begin{document}
ae=ä, oe=ö, ue=ü, Ae=Ä, Oe=Ö, Ue=Ü, ss=ß
\end{document}
error:
/usr/share/texmf/tex/latex/base/inputenc.sty:118:File `utf8.def' not found.

can somebody give me a tip, how i install utf8-support for latex on fedora?
