I'm resubmitting this because it's been nearly a week without even a single reply. I guess since nobody has even attempted to help me on about 5 different forums and 3 mailing lists, my problem must be the first of its kind ever. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Hey, I have a problem with sound distortion when using my Audigy NX (USB) soundcard in Fedora Core 3. Sound works fine in Windows XP Pro. I am using ALSA and I believe I have the latest RPMs installed for it (I don't have the latest alsa-driver-* because it comes in some .bz2(?) format that I don't know how to install from, since I'm a total newbie to this. I just got the latest RPMs I could find). I have tried changing settings in alsamixer with no results. If anyone knows how to fix this I would really appreciate it. This is the last glaring problem I can see with my new Linux install, so I want to get it fixed so I can stop using Windows, like I am now, just to listen to music.
