Howdy! I found the appropiet 3D driver for my ATI 9800XT, but it won't let me modprobe it in. The module I want to include is called fglrx_dri.so. This would enable 3D for my vidoe card. How do I include this type of module??? Everytime I try, it tells me the module can't be found. ANy ideas?? Thanks!!
Module names don't end in .so, they use .ko. I don't have an ATI card, but I suspect you need to get the complete installer from the ATI website and follow its instructions to build the correct module for your system. Lots of info on the Web, google is your friend.
