VJ, the reason you see a throughput plateau in your data tranfser speed
has nothing to do with Samba.  The bottleneck is most likely your 32-bit
PCI bandwidth.  I have seen about 5x that throughput to a Samba server
between 64-bit/66 PCI network interfaces running GigE.
