Hi there.

I would like to know if anybody here has any experience Firefox 1.0 -
either "firefox-0.10.1-0.1.1.fc2.test.i386.rpm" from DAG or
"firefox-1.0.installer.tar.gz" (the installer from mozilla).

Should I uninstall Firefox 0.93 before I install Firefox 1.0 and which
one works best, "firefox-0.10.1-0.1.1.fc2.test.i386.rpm" or
"firefox-1.0.installer.tar.gz" ?

Kind regards,

Kristian Poul Herkild

What is wrong with the 1.0 version at Fedora Core? http://download.fedora.redhat.com/pub/fedora/linux/core/updates/3/i386/firefox-1.0-2.fc3.i386.rpm

You do not need to uninstall the previous version. Use rpm, up2date or
yum to install it.

Aah... that's why I couldn't find it... It was under FC3.. Well, it probably works fine with FC2 so I'll give it a shot. Thank you :)

If it doesn't work properly on FC2 I might as well update to FC3 - it's downloaded for a while ago anyway :p
