On Windows, install the Print Services for Unix package (Control Panel,
Add/Remove Programs, Add/Remove Windows Components, Other File and Print
Services, check box beside Print Services for Unix).

Once that is set, you can use the standard lpr/lpd functionality for
your Windows system.  So, for example, I have a shared printer
(MultiPass F30) on my Windows box shared as "F30".  I just treat it like
a Unix remote printer in whatever printer setup tool I use.  

This method is much easier than trying ot use Samba for printer
sharing...
