I have bittorent 3.4.2 rpm installed, when I try a download the bittorrent windows starts up and after a couple of seconds the window disappears and nothing gets downloaded.
Could be a segfault. I've had trouble with the RPM distributions of BitTorrent. Start it from the terminal window and report the errors on the console, please. Also try installing from the Python source instead.
