I got ipw2100 working on my laptop
I installed
      ipw2100-1.0.0-27.rhfc3.at.i386.rpm
      ipw2100-firmware-1.3-5.at.noarch.rpm
      kernel-module-ipw2100-2.6.9-1.681_FC3-1.0.0-27.rhfc3.at.i686.rpm
from atrpms.
reboot the system it will ask for configuration. I just check get
details from DHCP and continued. After bootup go to configure network
devices and edit the newly added wireless device. In wireless tab
'give all the details for wireless connection' you can see availabe
networks using this command
$/sbin/iwlist 'device' scanning % my device was eth1
and save after editing and activate it. it shud work.
And for your information, my wireless device is working better than in windows
--amarnath
