If you go into this item in General Setup:

  [*] Configure standard kernel features (for small systems)  --->

You will see this:

  --- Configure standard kernel features (for small systems)
  [*]   Load all symbols for debugging/kksymoops
  [ ]     Include all symbols in kallsyms
  [*]     Do an extra kallsyms pass
  [*]   Enable futex support
  [*]   Enable eventpoll support
  [*]   No-op I/O scheduler
  [*]   Anticipatory I/O scheduler
  [*]   Deadline I/O scheduler
  [*]   CFQ I/O scheduler

The first item on this menu "Load all symbols..." is the one you want.
