I noticed on a fresh FC3 install that the swap partition entry in /etc/fstab is referenced by a "LABEL=SWAP-sda7" entry instead of a device. It appears that the swap partition is labeled similar to the way file systems are labeled. I understand fully about the reason and method for labeling file system partitions and referring to the labels in /etc/fstab to make booting more robust, especially with SCSI devices that tend to move around as hardware changes. How do you label a swap partition? Is there a tool for labeling swap partitions?
