Hi, I have got a problem on LCD display with fedora core 3 on Hp nx5000. The LCD resolution is 1024x768. During installation of FC3, I was presented two resolution options and manufacturer unknown: "800x600" "640x480". I mimiced someone's sugestion, manually edit the /etc/X11/xorg.conf (assuming equavalent to /etc/X11/XF86Config), added 1024x768 to both 'screen' and 'display' sections. However, this is not working. after reboot, it remains the old 800x600 setting. I also tried system-config-display utility, it only show two options: "800x600" "640x480".
