Sound from Neomagic 256AV on FC3

Has anyone gotten sound to work from the Neomagic 256AV and FC3 combination? Everything seems to work fine for me except for sound. I've looked at the groups and sites and have tried some things but without success. Any pointers before I post technical details and everything I've tried?
